I have enough trouble understanding why a man would love another man in that way, let alone want to marry a person of the same gender.
However, I have held the view that if one of my children turned out to be gay or a lesbian I would still love them. I wouldnt disown them. I remember Billys dad saying he would disown him :( He has anyway :(
I remember Billy use to love dressing up in his sisters tutu. He was only about 2. This does NOT make a boy gay. Billy isnt interested much in any type of relationship yet. He reckons he is better off being a bachelor as it saves him money :) :) This I guess will change one day when he meets a pretty girl in the mean time its not a bad way to be I reckon. As for my daughter she is in a relationship with a nice boy :)

I agree with you totally, Jen. I find it hard to understand how one could be SEXUALLY attracted to someone of the same sex. Also the Bible forbids sexual relations between two people of the same sex.
HOWEVER, I do feel sympathy for those who are orientated this way for one cannot help one's FEELINGS - it is what one does with them that matters. For instance one may feel attraction towards a friend's husband but one does not have to yield to it and wreck the marriage. Also, I could NEVER disown my child for he would need my love and support more than ever as he worked out his feelings.
The sad thing is that today's society is so sex-obsessed that it is now assumed any friendship MUST be sexual whether between people of the same or opposite sexesand this is just not the case. Often relationships are better when unclouded by sex.
Whatever my child grows up to be (and that means gay or straight, a hippy or a lawyer etc) I would really just want them to be happy with the way they live their life. But I do want grandchildren.

Now gays and lesbians.. I dont know why but i am more accepting towards lesbians than gays. I find two men in a relationship to be wrong. That doesnt mean that there is anything wrong with the men themselves but the fact they are in a relationship is wrong. Whereas two women in a relationship is fine.
