On the 1st of January till today the 31st Of March I have been taking part in this fitness challenge.
click to linkIn January I walked a staggering 72 miles, February 44 miles and as of today the last day of this challenge 43 miles.

Tomorrow marks the start of my 2nd time round (!st April till June the 30th) This will be our winter months so it will be interesting to see if I can walk just as far I as I have this time :)
This time I plan to do progress reports ever Friday (NZ time). Didnt do any for the first round - who knows I may even make some more bloggy friends this time.
NB
There are A few "workout" stipulations:“Workouts” only include activities specifically done for the purpose of exercise.
The majority of my walks (the only way I exercise) are done either doing my 14 year olds paper run on Saturday mornings or when delivering and picking up my Home Care Catalogues. While this is my part time job and I get paid for the work I do. Its not much - pocket money really and I wouldnt be exercising if it werent for that. I have been "working" for just over a year now and if it werent for the job I wouldnt have kept up the regular exercise. If you have a problem with my view of the rules you dont have to read my blog :) Peace always

Good on you jen! btw love your new template in here!
**grin** I have no problem with your interpretation of the rules. ;) Good for you for getting lots of walking done. I need to do more walking. As we go into the summer, it will get harder to get exercise due to the heat.
I've no problem at all with your interpretation of the rules. The point is, it is keeping you fit and you are earning a few extra $$ as well. You did brilliantly to walk so far in January. Our January was so icy and snowy, that I would have needed skis or skates to do anything like that!
You don't seem to get snow in winter like we do, and so may actually find it easier to walk in cold weather -I know I do, providing there is no ice or snow around on which to slip.
Have you got a pedometer to measure how far you walk each day?
Congratulations, Jen! Although I participate in this challenge, I haven't been reporting on my progress at all. But I can say I've exceeded 100 miles in the last three months. :)
More power to Round 2!
