This is another piece of art I made last year. Im not much of a drawer but this piece has special significance to me as last year I learnt to be my own best friend this was a major achievement for me.

I like the quote too. Actually, it is an interesting picture - for one thing, you see yourself with long hair!!!! Are you going to grow it? As for saying you can't draw, you should just see my efforts!!!!
I think that when we treat ourselves poorly we let others treat us that way and Im not going to let men treat me as they have in the past any more

I have got long hair Meg. Ive been growing it for some time. When I have a 30cm long ponytail i am going to send it to a place in Wellington where they will turn it into a wig for those whom have lost their hair due to cancer. Im about 1/2 way there.
I also know have a hair dresser whom is going to help me grow it with no split enz etc
What a lovely idea - donating your hair for a wig to help cancer sufferers, I mean.
I could SEE in photos that your hair was longer than it used to be for at one time you had it very short, but I had not realised it was as long as it is and will eventually be
