Due to the mix up yesterday we got 2 Christmas days this year
Sarah, Billy and I went to the boxing day sales early
I spend the 2 gift cards I got on a new bra and 3 books :)
then while the older 2 were still shopping I went and picked up Daniel
wewent back and got the older 2
went home picked up the Christmas lunch of ham, sausages, chippies, biscuits, candy canes, lollies and roast veges and crackling which Billy cooked dinner last night to save time today
then we grabbed togs, towels, a couple of table cloths and Daniels bucket of sand toys Santa had left him and drove out to Waimarama Beach (about an hour away from us and with real sand and nice sea to swim in)
after a tasty lunch we did indeed play in the sea :)
when we got home late afternoon and after showers to get all the sand off we enjoyed chocolate steamed pudding, blueberries and ice cream :)

I'm so glad day 2 turned out better than day 1. From Daniel'spoint of view, he got two Christmases and the important thing was that he enjoyed it all.
