Paula and another new teacher whom i know from playgroup (she was care giving and brought some children there to play) were playing with the kids. They were playing with Paulas new puppets. She got them for Christmas :) :)
They were the three little pigs and the big bad wolf.
They had the children including D4 up in front of the mat holding a pig or the wolf and "acting out the play." As the children were leaving with their parents their parts were becoming redundant. Eventually there was only D4, Amy, 1 boy and the teachers and myself watching. When the boys mother came I scooted/hurried over and took his place taking over the place of the BIg Bad Wolf. D4 enjoyed the fact that I was joining in enormously.
Well I as the Big Bad Wolf huffed and puffed but do you think I could get that house that the 3 little pigs were in to blow down?
No :( I could not. For it was made of bricks!!!
The new teacher congratulated me afterwards for taking part. I told her it was fun :) :) :)
Today I must remember to tell her I have my bachelor in early childhood education

Kids just love it when we jump in and play with them. Glad you had the opportunity to brighten their day. :)
Your boy will always remember that you got down in the floor and played with him, Jen. Time spent with our little ones is never wasted time. :o)

I'm so glad you, D4 and the other kids had so much fun together. D4 will treasure this moment for many years to come. :D
I think I will have fond memories of that day for a long time too :)
