Psalms

This morning we studied Psalms
I was co-teacher today helping my friend who was leading the study

We had to do amongst other activities an acrostic
This is the one I wrote

The Holy One
He Loves Us . . .
Eternally . . .

Wholeheartedly
Open to answer prayer (his 'phone line' is never engaged)
Recall through reading and sharing (Earlier in church a man who has been to Papa New Guinea recently shared with us about how he was comparing the lights of God with the man made lights of a nearby village - Gods light - his creation the stars are much brighter than any man made lights. Which reminded me of some years ago when I was at my sisters house. I surveyed the stars above her country home and felt little and insufficient yet God Loves Me)
Do to others as you would have them do unto you (probably one of the very first memory verses I learnt as a girl)

Order in chaos (Even when our life may seem awful God brings order and peace. I know this from experience)
Forgiveness and Love

God our One true God. There are no other Gods. He is Lord of Lords. King of Kings
Obedience is a desire to follow God
Daily bread in our lives thus bringing us back to The Word of God

FOR TODAY... 5 July

Outside my window. . . its wet again

I am listening to...my alarm going off in the other room

be right back

I am thinking... about the week ahead

I am thankful for...the fact that I jumped out of bed this morning . . . otherwise Id still be there and we couldnt have that

I am wearing... my dressing gown still after this Im going to have a shower and get dressed

I am going... home school this week Im still coughing and chesty but we have to make up for last week and we dont have D4 this week - hes with his dad for the first week for the holidays

I am currently reading... One by Richard Bach - hes the same aurthor whom wrote Jonathan Livingston Seagull which I read as a child and never understood for some reason might have to try reading that one again after Ive finished reading this thought provoking book

The photo from my last post did look like a bird to us what is most amazing is that D4 drew it. Kindy has told us before that he seems to have a talent in art Im beginning to think they are right.
When D4 had drawn it he showed it to his big brother who nearly fell off his chair. B14 asked if he could keep it until we had taken a photo of it. My only regret is that before B14 got so excited I should have asked D4 what hed drawn
