FOR TODAY... 5 July

Outside my window. . . its wet again

I am listening to...my alarm going off in the other room

be right back

I am thinking... about the week ahead

I am thankful for...the fact that I jumped out of bed this morning . . . otherwise Id still be there and we couldnt have that

I am wearing... my dressing gown still after this Im going to have a shower and get dressed

I am going... home school this week Im still coughing and chesty but we have to make up for last week and we dont have D4 this week - hes with his dad for the first week for the holidays

I am currently reading... One by Richard Bach - hes the same aurthor whom wrote Jonathan Livingston Seagull which I read as a child and never understood for some reason might have to try reading that one again after Ive finished reading this thought provoking book

The photo from my last post did look like a bird to us what is most amazing is that D4 drew it. Kindy has told us before that he seems to have a talent in art Im beginning to think they are right.
When D4 had drawn it he showed it to his big brother who nearly fell off his chair. B14 asked if he could keep it until we had taken a photo of it. My only regret is that before B14 got so excited I should have asked D4 what hed drawn

I only read Jonathan Livingston Seagull for the first time a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed it but i don't think kids would be able to grasp its meaning so well. I definitely think you should reread it.

That's one great looking bird! D4 did a marvelous job at it. A thought-provoking book is always good. I love reading those.

Wow, that's a really clever drawing.

I LOVED reading 'ONE' and 'Jonathan Livingstone Seagull' - both as an adult. Very inspiring.
