Just as Well I Like Walking

After church (and a catnap for me) this afternoon D4 decided he wanted to go for a bike ride so off we went. We went about 1 mile or 2 kms. He rode unassisted most of the way although he was tired when we got back to our road so I helped pull him on his bike up to our road.

UPDATE re Spice

About 1/2 an hour ago at 515pm Spice came in the door as I was preparing dinner and getting a load of washing out of the washing machine
I bawled and bawled and rang B14 and bawled a bit more LOL
He wanted to know why I was so upset
well its been stressful and I thought he was dead
keeping him inside for a week and hopefully going to get him desexed

1st Day of 2010

Spent most the day looking for
B14s young cat. Weve had him for about 5 months. I put him out to go to the toilet the other day and I havent seen him since :(

Made some leaflets up and delivered them around the neighborhood.

Poor B14 :( Hes none too happy. Hes at his granddads for his annual holiday and I rang and told them this morning :(

Not such a good start to 2010. However, I cant have day a happy one can I???? Nor I suppose does one day make a whole year

Happy New Years

To usher the New Years in. I went to a free concert in town. Ray Woolf (whom I have liked since a little girl) and Erna Ferry were singing with a band called The Hit List which included members of the Rodger Fox Band. They were terrific.
At midnight there were fireworks

Walking and Working

This morning I got up at 530
I did the paper run I have been doing for a week and the one I usually do for B14 on a Saturday morning
Then I delivered 189 home care catalogs

I walked and walked and walked up hill and down probably approximately 11 miles or 18 kms

B14 is in Timaru with his granddad for his annual holiday
